This is a sturdy, low maintenance swing. We bought it to hang from a tree. It looks great and is nice to sit in. My only complaint (and it is minor) is the seat is somewhat shallow so the edge of the seat hits well before the back of my knees which is uncomfortable if sitting on it for long periods of time. Other than that, we love it.
